One of several firsts was Visual Campaign Builder (VCB) - part of the Callmedia Product suite. It delivered the first web-based call centre scripting system in 1997, providing a scalable, robust, rapid development environment for call centres. VCB has been used at many outsourced call centres where it is often used to give competitive edge when the centres are bidding for new contracts. As the basis for the web enabled call centre, it is a great platform for building call centre front-ends.
